The good fight in Botswana

In association with ‘Village Imaging’, ‘iBreastExam’ hosts breast health check-up in Botswana.

Breast cancer is on a rise across the world. Although, there has been an upsurge in the awareness campaigns, the impact on ground has been negligible. Considering that early detection is the key to successful treatment in the majority of the cases, ‘iBreastExam’ in association with ‘Village Imaging’ - an independent radiology practitioner, hosted a breast health check-up camp on 22nd and 23rd March, 2018 at Curves Gaborone, Botswana.

The two days activity received an incredible response, women in large numbers showed up for their check-up at the camp. The most spectacular of all was that after experiencing and learning more about the benefits of regular breast health check-up for early detection of cancer, the participants further recommended their family and friends to take part in the drive.

‘iBreastExam’ is to soon arrange another breast health check-up in Botswana to further extend preventive health care services for women.
