About the Panel Discussion 

UE LifeSciences builds FemTech solutions for early cancer detection, including breast and cervical cancers. We will contribute to the panel discussion on Women-centered early diagnosis, scheduled on Day 1. Our panel will cover critical topics such as the importance of women’s healthcare, ongoing initiatives in Latin America and the U.S., and efforts to close the healthcare gap. We’ll also explore inclusive research on Latin women, unconventional approaches to improving women’s health, and the role of digital activism in building supportive communities. This discussion will highlight the power of partnerships and collaboration in transforming women’s healthcare.

We have two members of UE LifeSciences’ Senior Leadership at Roche Press Day; Luis Sagarzazu, UE LifeSciences’ Regional Manager LATAM, and Smita Asrani, VP Partnerships. Luis has a wealth of experience in leading healthcare initiatives across Latin America, and he will share his insights on regional challenges and the progress being made in women-centered care. Speaking with him is Smita, whose passion for early cancer detection is deeply personal, driven by the loss of her only sister to late-stage breast cancer. This experience fuels her commitment to build partnerships that make early detection more accessible to all women.
